Tired after exercising? Usually you will drink isotonic drinks or plain mineral water to restore lost fluids. However, did you drink the most powerful way to
restore the conditions after exercise?

According to research conducted by the University of Texas, United States, milk chocolate is the ideal drink after exercise. "Professional or amateur athletes enjoy the benefits of physical recovery when drinking low-fat chocolate milk after a strenuous exercise," says Dr. John Ivy, head of research, was quoted by the Daily Mail.

This is because milk chocolate gives better body composition, with compositions more muscle and less fat. With exercise, body shape obtained will be better than people who only drink sports drinks that contain only carbohydrates.

Ivy doctor and his team compared the effects of recovery from drinking low-fat chocolate milk after exercise with the effects of carbohydrate drink with the same ingredients and calorie-free.

They also conducted a survey of 10 athletes bike. The athletes were asked to ride for 90 minutes of moderate intensity and 10 minutes of high intensity.

The researchers found that athletes who consume low-fat chocolate milk is more powerful and faster pedaling. It compared those who consumed a sports drink calorie-free.

The research team also tested 32 male and female amateur cyclists. They were asked to cycling five times a week round. The result, chocolate milk drinkers have 2 times more oxygen uptake than others.

Oxygen uptake is one indicator of an athlete's endurance for exercise. They were more muscular body and fat is lost too much.

"We do not yet know the exact mechanism that causes the low-fat chocolate milk provides more benefits than sports drinks," said Dr.. John.

He added that there is something in the mix of proteins and carbohydrates that occur naturally, so it has significant benefits. Three minutes of recovery after exercise is as important as nutritional supplements.
